erin

Vice President, Erin Frantzen

Erin Frantzen, Vice President of Homegrown Americana Radio Consulting, Inc., was born and raised into music, by her parents, Stephen and Sandi Campbell. As a musicians' daughter, Erin spent lots of time running mic cable, setting up sound equipment, and occasionally watching the sound board for her dad while he was on stage performing with Too Strange For Sisterdale and other Texas Hill Country musicians like Bill Smallwood & The Jazz Cowboys, Ben Beckendorf, and Gregg Cheser & The Pronto Brothers. At an early age, she was exposed to many different genres of music and artists including Jimi Hendrix, The Coasters, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Cocker, and the Robert Cray Band. Erin grew up performing on stage, opening for her parents band, singing a cappella with her younger sister Lacey at such places as the Das Ist Alles Fest in Grapetown, TX, and the Folklife Festival in downtown San Antonio. She knew music would always influence what she did throughout her life. Erin started her radio career when Rick Star hired her on as a morning dj on KNAF. Under Rick's tutelage, and influenced by his vast years of radio experience, within a year Erin was promoted to Music Director of KNAF-KFAN,while continuing as a dj on KFAN-FM. With her newfound love of Americana music, Erin jumped at the opportunity to become a part of Homegrown Americana Radio Consulting, Inc.
